Mac Furst, CFA
Mac Furst has extensive experience in finance, information technology (IT), and electric and autonomous vehicles. As an equity research analyst on both the buy-side and the sell-side, Mac has published dozens of equity research reports. Working for the $5 billion asset management firm HBSS, he was responsible for stock recommendations worth $250 million. As a research analyst with Gartner, the global market leader in IT industry and market research, Mac published extensively on IT markets, companies, and products. While at Gartner, he received numerous, highly coveted awards for research excellence. Furthermore, Mac has published equity research reports on EV and AV manufacturers. Mac is an active member of the CFA Institute and mentors university students participating in the CFA Institute’s Research Challenge.
David Marsh, CFA
David Marsh is an equity research analyst, who has been with Singular Research since July 2022. He is a generalist, with coverage of companies in several industry verticals including: technology, media, telecom (TMT), energy, real estate, diversified industrials, and consumer. Prior to joining Singular, Mr. Marsh accumulated over 12 years of Wall Street experience, mostly serving as a publishing sell-side research analyst for various brokerage firms. During a six-year tenure at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, Mr. Marsh covered over 50 different companies in a wide variety of industries and earned research votes from some of the largest asset managers in the world. During his career, he has helped to underwrite over $7 billion in capital markets transactions. Mr. Marsh holds an M.B.A. in finance from Wake Forest University and a B.S. in accounting from Washington & Lee University. Mr. Marsh has been a CFA charterholder continuously since being awarded the designation in 2007.
Jim Marrone, CFA
Jim Marrone holds a B. Sc. in Geology and an MBA. He has worked as an equity analyst over a decade where he covers North American equities across multiple sectors. In addition to working as an analyst, Jim also works as a financial trainer where he teaches financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets to new analyst hires. Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Advanced Financial Modelling (AFM) designations.
Gowshihan Sriharan, CFA
Gowshihan Sriharan is a seasoned analyst with over a decade of experience in equity research, encompassing both buy-side and sell-side exposure. He has held pivotal roles at South Texas Money Management, Gravity Capital, Sidoti & Co, and C.L.King & Associates. As an experienced generalist, he has analyzed a myriad of sectors, quickly identifying and diving into the key factors driving investment theses. Gowshe holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. A native of the UK, he splits his time between London and the U.S.
Deniz Pirincci Ercan, PhD, MBA
Deniz Pirincci Ercan has extensive experience in molecular biology, oncology, drug discovery, food safety, and scientific strategy. Her background spans translational cancer research, AI-enabled target identification, and public-sector scientific leadership, with experience at BenevolentAI, The Francis Crick Institute, and the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute. She has led multidisciplinary teams, managed research programs, and presented scientific and strategic analyses to senior stakeholders and international partners. Deniz holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Imperial College London and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. She brings a research-driven perspective to equity analysis, with a focus on biotechnology, healthcare innovation, oncology, emerging technologies, and undercovered public companies in the life sciences sector.
Frank Dilorenzo, MBA, CFA
Frank Dilorenzo has more than two decades of experience covering numerous stocks and industries, with a focus on healthcare, technology, and consumer-related companies. Frank was the biotech and life sciences analyst at S&P, where he amassed the top stock-picking record among the equity analyst team. He was also instrumental in the creation of the Biotechnology and Life Sciences Tools & Services GICS subindustries. Frank has worked with BMO and Mizuho and traveled across three continents providing investment advice and strategic corporate advice to investment firms and pharmaceutical companies. In addition to his research analyst role with Singular Research, he manages and advises family office portfolios. Frank has an MBA and is a CFA charterholder.
